Our primary purpose as a fellowship is to carry the message to the addict who still suffers. PI is a vital part of "carrying the message." This type of service calls upon us to communicate and participate in areas of the community in which, as using addicts, we were once unwelcome. Courage and humility are necessary ingredients in our recovery when approaching the public about our fellowship.
