About Hill Country Area

We are a rural service area located in the Texas Hill Country in South Central Texas.  At a Regional Service Conference in 2002, the seeds for a new Service Area of  Narcotics Anonymous were planted. Hill Country Area NA began with three rural groups. These rural groups were often over looked because of geographic isolation from the larger cities.

Hill Country Area of Narcotics Anonymous is a part of the Tejas Bluebonnet Region of Narcotics Anonymous. We have Narcotics Anonymous meetings located between Austin and San Antonio and from Kerrville in the west , to Lockhart in the east.

Our Area Service Committee usually meets the third Sunday of each month at 12:00 PM and we rotate the Area Service Committee Meetings between each town. Anyone is welcome to attend our Area Service Committee meeting. Our current ASC rotation includes the groups we serve who have ability to host the ASC:  Kerrville (Agape & Kerrville NA Groups), Universal City (Phoenix & SOS Groups), Lockhart (Conscious Contact Group), New Braunfels (Freedom & Simplicity Groups), Canyon Lake (The Dam Recovery Group), and Schertz (Full Circle Group).

If you want to attend our ASC, please visit our home-page and scroll down to service committees for the next ASC location and exact time. To attend a Narcotics Anonymous meeting in Hill Country Area go to the meetings page. Most Narcotics Anonymous meetings are open to anyone; closed meetings to addicts only are coded (C) on the meeting schedule.

Remember there are no requirements, fees, or dues to become a member of Narcotics Anonymous. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using. You are an addict and a member when you say you are!
