Narcotics Anonymous is more than just going to meetings and working the 12 steps with our NA sponsor. We have a variety of events or functions in Hill Country Area every year such as picnics, dances, camp outs, river runs, workshops, fundraisers and speaker meetings. Other areas within our region also hold many similar activities and functions. Each year our fellowship holds regional conventions and a world convention (WCNA) every 2 years.
We have fun and most important is that we remember what we did the next morning. The only promise that Narcotics Anonymous makes is freedom from active addiction. With that freedom from active addiction comes a new way to live.
“We believe that the sooner we face our problems within our society, in everyday living, just that much faster do we become acceptable, responsible, and productive members of that society”.© In Narcotics Anonymous we learn to live again and have fun.
